Where can I get a……?

Peronal wind turbine (for a residential living area) that is power grid integrated?

How much do they normally run? I know some power companies by the extra power place out by the wind turbine. I want a wind turbine that can supply a lot of power to my house.

I live in the mountains and wind is never and issue here. Do you have any links?

    I would reckon twice about this.When I was a kid my folks had one on the house..It made a lot of noise. We had electric lights..32 volt if I remember..It had a wood propeller..like a small plane.

    You will likely have to apply for permits to install a wind turbine. They do make noise which ic not a plus for a residential area.

    Check with your local:
    Plotting department
    Building department
    Environmental department
    Electrical Utilities that owns the wires in your area.
    There may be more.

    I have found a couple of different companies that sell wind and solar products on-line. And a company in the U.P. of Michigan is doing installations. But do your homework. Power companies will not pay you for the energy you make. They will credit your account. Also Wind turbines require maintenance. which means taking down the tower. I priced a small turbine and a 50′ tower. It was over $10,000 in parts alone. Reckon Solar, There is not nearly as much maintenance. Excellent luck!
