Surely that makes a MW sized Tesnic array cheaper in the long run compared to a conventional HAWT offshore array?
Are you getting any interest for a scaled up version?
There are lots of plans for new wind arrays all over the planet (especially in the UK where we get some of the best winds in Europe)… excellent luck with it… it looks very promising in both micro & macro scales.

The plot is to start with small size turbines, but the scale up is not an issue.
To your point, it will be simpler to manufacture, install and maintain an offshore MW size Tesnic turbine than a classic HAWT.

This is just fantastic… they even look like chimney pots so would fit on the roof of ancient houses without standing out at all (if they were a different colour or whatever) What a brilliant thought!
Can it be scaled up to the size of an oil rig & sited out at sea in massive arrays?

I dont fully know how the disks work in the center. Do you have any diagrams or a disk picture? the only thing that is coming to mind when i see them is something like Cd’s with lips to catch the air. could you post a picture of a disk?
