FLEXIBLE SOLAR PANEL 124 WATT ROLLABLE PV Photovoltaic 42 Volt Panel

This is a rollable 124 watt solar panel that has a built in adhesive for roof mounting application. The adhesive is designed to mount to roof pans or metal sheets that can then be placed on your roof.

This design allows for reasonable shipping of higher wattage PV Photovoltaic Solar Panels.

    Dan, I have a question: On a bright sunny day, does the solar ‘panel’ heat up? Does it get hot underneath? Would it be possible to wind a hose and glue the panel on top of it and pump your pool water through it? Could it provide cooling for the solar strip, at the same time generating electricity and warming up my pool water?

    @GreenPowerscience, how do you see the use of flexible solar panels in a large scale? Right-me if I’m incorrect, but, this panels are made from not-yet-recyclable semi-conductors right? Do you have any information on any advance on that area? (recycling solar panels)? Thank you for the videos, looking forward for your answer;

    Hmm. So I would need 6 of these to run my computer? And that only on the most sunny days. So I’d need 12-20 to run my computer constantly (day and night) as I do now…. These sheets don’t seem very efficient.. Oh well, if they are cheap. (Wait, they are not!). Not that I don’t reckon this is a fantastic invention, but I wouldn’t buy it.

    @0urGaia Thank you for explaining that. The title of the video says 1 of these strips only produces 124 watts. So 5 of these would only produce 620 watts per hour, right? I’m trying to figure out how you came up with 2.5 kw. Are you assuming about 4 hours of optimum sunshine on a sunny day? Thanks again for your help understanding how these solar panels work.

They also still seem to cost a lot of money per watt. In very hot arid areas like the southwestern usa the cooling that someeone post is a excellent thought. I recommend that the roof substraight they are mounted to has air flow under it. But a liquid would be much better as long as it has a sinc to go to! Fantastic Video!
