-Wind speed was probably around 30 m/s

-You can see a truck at the base of the mill, but nobody was hurt. The mill had been evacuated 400m in each direction.

Every scientist, environmentalist, & economist knows corn ethanol is very inefficient and wasteful and uses more energy than it saves, (not to mention that land that COULD be growing crops for food to help lower food costs is being used for ethanol corn!) but Obama backs it (check his voting record on farm bills), so he plans to "invest" $500 million in "renewable" energy. How much of that money will be wasted in programs like corn ethanol? Will we be seeing solar panels in Seattle, and wind turbines in north Louisiana and Mississippi

Corn ethanol is a total waste of money, it cost a lot more to harvest, process and brings up the cost of food. Without the Government subsides ethanol is dead. Look at stocks of ethanol companies, they are in the toilet. We still need to drill for oil to increase our own domestic supply. Then take the tax money from oil to invest in alternative energy, such as nuclear, wind and solar. Our energy independance will greatly help our economy.
